Introduction to Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia & Vascular Access.

We start the day with a didactic introduction to ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. The group is then split into smaller groups, rotating between scanning stations. All common blocks, as well as some of the newer blocks, are covered during these stations. Live models are scanned by participants under the instruction of the faculty, and you’ll also practice needling skills on our simulator phantoms.
Held at our custom-built Tampa, Florida facility, with a maximum of 20 participants per session to ensure 1:5 faculty-to-student hands-on tuition. Live model scanning takes place in darkened ultrasound suites with large-screen monitors and GE ultrasound machines.
